Prayer: Father, rescue me out of the hand of the wicked. I see changes. I see victory against the oppression of governmental officials. Thank You for the good news of roll backs on mandates.
Reading: Psalm 71 key: vs. 17-18
17 God, You taught me from my youth,
and I still keep declaring Your wonders.
18 So even until I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me,
till I tell of Your strong arm to the next generation,
Your might to all who are to come.
Attention: I declare the words of psalmist who appealed for the close presence of Adonai. From his youth till his hair is gray, Lord I ask for the same. May we understand that God never left us, we left Him, and He is patiently waiting for our return with open, welcoming arms.
Just like a toddler who constantly looks back to see if mom or dad are watching. As like toddlers, as we increasingly stretch the boundaries, may we do so with Your presence and closeness. For when we venture beyond our boundaries, may I not do so foolishly alone. Draw me close to You. Keep me ever close.
Action: I will purpose to stay in close, safe proximity to God.
Yield: When I am yielded, I stay close to God.
Engage: I am engaged when I stay close to God.
Relationship: I am in full relationship with God when I stay close to Him.
Prayer: Father, the arrows come from the most unlikely sources, and they come for a multiplicity of reasons. You are working on transforming me and conforming me to Your image. I am not complete yet and will not be until I see You face to face. But I am changed. I am not the old man I used to be. Amen to that or I would be in despair. Amen.
Memory Verse: Romans 7:24-25
24 Miserable man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God—it is through Messiah Yeshua our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself serve the Torah of God; but with my flesh, I serve the law of sin.
