A Pledge of Integrity

Prayer: Father, I want to be what You want me to be. Do what You want me to do and say what You want me to say. Amen.

Reading: Psalms 101 key: vs. 2
I will behave wisely in the way of integrity
—when will You come to me?
I walk in my house with integrity in my heart.

Attention: What does the word “integrity” mean? According to an online dictionary, integrity is defined as, “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.

“They are known to be a person of integrity”.

Am I known to be a person characterized by honesty and strong moral principles?

New Zealand-born evangelist Ray Comfort, who is best known for his street evangelism in which he asks people about God, the Bible, sin, and salvation, uses the Ten Commandments to reveal a person’s sin. Here is a link to one of his interviews:

What Biblical Evangelism Looks Like

We can only be a person of integrity when we have become a new person in Jesus Christ. We work with the Holy Spirit to put to death our former person and become transformed by the renewing of our mind (Romans 12:1-2). This is a lifetime process as we come to the Word of God daily through the Choose Life Journal.

Integrity is the byproduct of a life submitted and lived with the Holy Spirit (Ruach). I hope you will commit to a Choose Life lifestyle. The process of working with the Holy Spirit in and through the Word of God will be transformational.

Action: I will live a life of integrity beginning with being honest with God and myself. I will Choose Life over death and a curse. I will life for Him (Messiah), who died for me.

Yield: I will ask the Holy Spirit to transform me through the Word to become who He wants me to be, righteous and holy.

Engage: I must work with the Holy Spirit through the Word of God.

Relationship: I must cooperate with the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Father, beginning today, I will work with the Holy Spirit to live a life of integrity before You, all people, my family, and my spouse. In Yeshua’s name, amen.

Memory Verse: Proverbs 10:9
One who walks in integrity, walks securely,
but one who takes crooked paths will be discovered.
