Your Kedoshim Bless You!

Prayer: Father, I ask for blessing, may I also bless You. Amen.

Reading: Psalm 145 key: vs. 8-10
Adonai is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
Adonai is good to all.
He has compassion on all His creatures.
10 All Your works praise You, Adonai,
and Your kedoshim bless You.

Attention: I grew up in a generation, that as a nation, the youth promoted peace and love. Today we have a prevailing theology in the church which characterizes Adonai as only love. This is a false theology and leading many astray. It is a doctrine which voids God of the rest of His character.

The scriptures tell us that God has boundaries and that our earthly father is an image of God. I don’t know about you, but the household I grew up in had boundaries and rules. Who governed and reinforced those rules? My dad. Did he have a right to delegate discipline? Yes. Why? God established the man with certain roles. He worked, he provided for his family, and together with the bank, he owned our home. There was never any question in my home, who presided over the household and the family.

Here are a few scriptures which establish God’s love for us and how He shows His love:

John 3:16-21 “For God so love the world that He gave…. His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Most of us know this verse and can recite it, but we have forgotten the message following this verse. John shares Gods purpose in sending and giving Yeshua to the world, “that the world might be saved through Him (Yeshua). The one who believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not put his trust in the name of the one and only Ben-Elohim. Now this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world and men loved the darkness instead of the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. But whoever practices truth comes to the light; so that it may be made known that his deeds have been accomplished in God.”

For those who claim to have come to the light and know Yeshua, do you still hold on to the darkness? Do you run to the darkness? Do you also protect those who are in darkness? Romans 1:32 prophetically declares the actions of this behavior, “Though they know God’s righteous decree—that those who practice such things deserve death—they not only do them but also approve of others who practice the same.” The scriptures are incredibly clear as to the consequence of participating in the practice of embracing a doctrine of love only. Love is the greatest of the gifts, but salvation by grace and the forgiveness of sin, is the greatest miracle Yeshua ever does in our lives.

Here is another test of the Love doctrine. I encourage you to read Hebrews 12:1-11. Here is a key portion, “It is for discipline that you endure. God is treating you as sons—for what son does a father not discipline? But if you are without discipline—something all have come to share—then you are illegitimate and not sons. Besides, we are used to having human fathers as instructors—and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?

Let’s not be guilty of manufacturing a false image of who God is. The world and the lives of the peoples of the nations hang in the balance!

Action: I will embrace the full nature and character of the love of Adonai.

Yield: I yield to the full doctrine of the love of God.

Engage: I will align myself with scripture and what it declares about who God is!

Relationship: I am in full relationship when I embrace who Adonai tells me He is.

Prayer: Father, I am in error when I allow the world who does not know you to tell me who You are. I must listen to You and Your blessed Holy Spirit and be willing to embrace the scriptures instruction. Love is also telling the truth, even when it hurts. Amen.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 12:4-5
In struggling against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of bloodshed. Have you forgotten the warning addressed to you as sons?

“My son, do not take lightly the discipline of Adonai
or lose heart when you are corrected by Him,
