I Will Multiply My Signs and Wonders

Prayer: Father, Pharoah already possessed a stubborn, rebellious heart. May my heart always be soft and attentive towards You. Amen.

Reading: Exodus 7 key: vs. 10-14
10 So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh and did as Adonai had commanded. Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh called for the wise men and the sorcerers, and they too, the magicians of Egypt, did the same with their secret arts. 12 For each man threw down his staff, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs. 13 Yet Pharaoh’s heart was hardened. So he did not listen to them—just as Adonai had said.
14 Then Adonai said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn; he refuses to let the people go.

Attention: First of all, did you read this chapter and spot the inaccuracies we have been taught all our lives about this account? I have always been taught that Moses threw the staff down and a popular musician in the 80’s also depicted that it was Moses who threw down the staff and spoke to Pharoah. The biblical account has Adonai giving Moses and Aaron instruction and He specifically gives Aaron the mandate to “threw (throw) down his staff.”

What we are going to witness over the next several days is a strategic, laser precision take down of the various gods which Pharoah and the Egyptian culture worshipped, establishing Adonai’s supremacy. Adonai had already told Moses and Aaron, “I will lay My hand upon Egypt, and bring forth My armies, My people Bnei-Yisrael, out of the land of Egypt in great judgements (vs. 4b).”

Adonai will humble Pharoah and the land of Egypt into submission and let His people go. One judgement by one judgement, one plague by one plague, God will prevail.

Does Adonai need to take down the idols and false gods in our lives too, before we will listen? What is it that has control and influence over you? Is it an appetite of the flesh, an addiction of the mind or body, a lust of the eye, or a pridefulness which overpowers you? Adonai does not want us enslaved to anyone, anything, or anybody but Him. Not a political ideology, an institution which demands our allegiance, or anything which is in opposition to His preeminence in our lives.

He alone is God, Adonai.

Action: I submit to a theocratic mindset, there is only One God, Jehovah, Adonai.

Yield: I yield and submit only to Adonai.

Engage: I worship only Adonai.

Relationship: Adonai alone is the Great I AM.

Prayer: Father, I worship only You. You alone are worth of my praise and worship. May Your praise be established in all the world. You are the Supreme Commander, King of heaven and earth. Amen.

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is one God, the Father,
    from whom are all things,
and we exist for Him;
and one Lord, Yeshua the Messiah,
    through whom are all things,
    and we exist through Him.
