Prayer: Father, show me something new in Your Word this morning. Reveal a new dimension of Your character which I did not know. In the name of Yeshua, amen.
Reading: Exodus 28 key: vs. 36
36 “Also you are to make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engravings of a seal, ‘HOLY TO Adonai.’
Attention: When I was a little boy, my mother used to process food from our garden with a method known as canning. Jars were sterilized, filled with green string beans, yellow wax beans, or cucumbers, add spices, hot water, place a lid on top and then tighten the band. Some canning processes called for pressurization; others called for a boiling water bath. However, with either process, as the heated jars cooled, we listened for the sealing of the lid, by the characteristic popping sound.
In verse 36, Moses was told that Aaron and his sons, as priests unto Adonai, were to wear a plate fastened to their forehead with a “violet cord.” Engraved on the plate were the words, “Holy To Adonai.” Only priests had this seal which they were to wear.
Do you know that Yeshua was given a seal of approval from Adonai (John 6:27), Paul and his associates were given a seal (2 Corinthians 1: 21-22), and Paul declares to all who “put your trust in Him (Messiah), you were sealed with the promised Ruach ha-Kodesh” (Ephesians 1:13-14).
If you have not been sealed with the Ruach ha-Kodesh as Paul declares, then I encourage you according to Romans 10:13 (which Paul also wrote), For “Everyone who calls upon the name of Adonai shall be saved.” Call upon the name of Adonai, He will hear, and He promises to rescue you and save you.
Action: I will call upon the name of Adonai today and have the assurance of being sealed with the Holy Spirit.
Yield: I give my life, heart, and soul to live for Adonai.
Engage: I will engage in the Spirit-filled lifestyle only Adonai gives us.
Relationship: When we call on Adonai, He hears, saves, and seals us with His Ruach ha-Kodesh.
Prayer: Father, I have not heard a lot of preaching or teaching on the sealing process which You initiate at salvation. May this become a new awareness of Your followers. Amen.

13 After you heard the message of truth—the Good News of your salvation—and when you put your trust in Him, you were sealed with the promised Ruach ha-Kodesh. 14 He is the guarantee of our inheritance, until the redemption of His possession—to His glorious praise!
