Prayer: Father, help me to see truth in Your Word. The truth in Your Word has always existed. It is not new or old truth but just like You, it always is, always was, and always will be! Amen.
Reading: Leviticus 22 key: vs. 31-33
31 “So you are to keep My mitzvot and do them. I am Adonai. 32 You must not profane My holy Name, for I will be made holy among Bnei-Yisrael. I am Adonai who makes you holy, 33 who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. I am Adonai.”
Attention: Bnei-Yisrael could have sacrificed all the animals and they still would not have been holy. We too could sacrifice all or our animals and shed our own blood, and we would still be in the same condition, lost and sinful.
Adonai made a pivotal truth declaration in the key passage today, “I am Adonai who makes you holy.” The apostle Paul declared to the Romans, “But now God’s righteousness apart from the Torah has been revealed, to which the Torah and the Prophets bear witness—
22namely, the righteousness of God through putting trust in Messiah Yeshua, to all who keep on trusting. For there is no distinction,
23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
24They are set right as a gift of His grace, through the redemption that is in Messiah Yeshua.
25God set forth Yeshua as an atonement, through faith in His blood, to show His righteousness in passing over sins already committed.
26Through God’s forbearance, He demonstrates His righteousness at the present time—that He Himself is just and also the justifier of the one who puts his trust in Yeshua (Romans 3:21-26 TLV).”
Holiness and righteousness are gifts. They are a lifestyle given by Adonai through Yeshua which glorifies Him. We were bought with the blood of Yeshua. We are not our own, but His. May we begin to act like we are His.
Action: I will accept Adonai’s gift of holiness and righteousness through Yeshua the Messiah.
Yield: I give my rights to self determination over to the Holy Spirit.
Engage: I cannot obtain holiness on my own.
Relationship: Working in tandem with the Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for the blood of Yeshua which cleanses me from all my unrighteousness. I claim the blood of Yeshua as my righteousness. Your blood makes me whole and clean. Amen.
Memory Verse: Romans 3:24 “They (We) are right as a gift of His grace, through the redemption that in in Messiah Yeshua.”
