Who Planned It

Prayer: Father, there are no accidents. In You, there are no coincidences. What You purpose will be fulfilled. You are the beginning and the end. Your Omniscience extends to all generations. Amen.

Reading: Isaiah 23 key: vs. 8-9 “Who planned this against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants were princes, whose traders were the honored of earth? Adonai-Tzva’ot has planned it, to defile the pride of all glory, to shame all the honored of earth.”

Attention: If you have ever purchased an Insurance Policy for your home, you are aware of a clause in your policy which exclusions known as “Acts of God.” They include natural occurring events like earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornados, which are considered beyond reasonable control by humans.

I find it interesting in a world that seeks to diminish the mention of the existence of a Supreme being called God, we have an industry which protects their liability for damage claims by having an “Acts of God” clause. It seems like a backdoor way of saying, just in case, we attribute such events beyond our liability and God is the culpable party.

Isaiah attributes the desolation of Tyre to one source, Adonai. In the chapters of Isaiah prior, Adonai has been responsible for the rise and fall of all nations. All nations are subject to the intentions of an all-Supreme Maker/Creator and His name is Adonai.

God has a plan which is fulfilled in Messiah. According to Paul in his letter to the Ephesus community, God’s plan

Action: I choose to embrace and acknowledge that Adonai has a plan for me and mankind.

Yield: I choose to step into the plan God has for me.

Engage: I choose to engage with the help of the Holy Spirit in the end time plan of God.

Relationship: I choose to live in intimate holy relationship with God.

Prayer: Father, we cannot continue to ignore Your law and governance over the affairs of man and the world. You will be praised and worshipped. If we do not do it, the rocks will cry out to You. May we repent and acknowledge Your supremacy. Amen.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 1:9-11 “He made known to us the mystery of His will, in keeping with His good pleasure that He planned in Messiah. The plan of the fullness of times is to bring all things together in the Messiah—both things in heaven and things on earth, all in Him. In Him we also were chosen, predestined according to His plan. He keeps working out all things according to the purpose of His will.” TLV
