Prayer: Father, I echo the praise of Isaiah 25:1, “You are My God, I will exalt You, I will praise Your Name, for You have done wonderful things, plans of old with steadfast faithfulness.” Amen.
Reading: Isaiah 25 key: vs. 8-9 “He will swallow up death forever. my Lord Adonai will wipe away tears from every face. He will remove His people’s reproach from all the earth. For Adonai has spoken. It will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God, We waited for Him—He will save us. This is Adonai—we waited for Him. We will rejoice and be glad in His salvation.” TLV
Attention: I discovered the value of a whole Bible study schedule today in reading Isaiah 25. The key focal scripture reminded me of Revelation 21 where we read, “I also heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the dwelling of God is among men, and He shall tabernacle among them. They shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them and be their God. He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more. Nor shall there be mourning or crying or pain any longer, for the former things have passed away” (vs. 3-4).
John the Revelator is quoting Isaiah, who centuries before documented the vision given him by Adonai. Along with the Hebrew nation, Isaiah was waiting for the appearance of the Messiah. We too wait for Messiah, but not for His appearance, but for His reappearance.
We recently celebrated His first appearance with His birth in Bethlehem. In His first appearance, He fulfilled His Name Emanuel God with us. He also conquered death by going to the cross and resurrecting to Life. In His second appearance, He promises He will wipe all tears from our eyes, and we will live eternally with Him.
It is fabulous that God chose to prophesy to us, through Isaiah, His plan for the redemption of mankind. If you did not know God’s plan, now you know. Now that you know, will You receive God’s gift in Yeshua Messiah? Then, begin waiting with me for His return.
Action: I choose to accept the plan which Adonai revealed to Isaiah and John the Revelator.
Yield: I choose to submit to the plan of Adonai for the salvation and redemption of mankind.
Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit in receiving God’s gift of Messiah.
Relationship: I choose to live in intimate relationship with God through Messiah.
Prayer: Father, what a magnificent plan You have revealed to us in Yeshua coming to earth as Messiah. Savior and blessed Redeemer. Amen.
Memory Verse: Isaiah 43:11 “I, I am Adonai— and there is no savior beside Me.” TLV
