Prayer: Father, You posed a contemporary question to an entire nation. Are You posing the same question to contemporary followers of Yours? Please reveal the purpose of Your question. Amen.
Reading: Jeremiah 30 vs. 5-6 “For thus says Adonai: “We heard a sound of trembling, of dread—there is no shalom. Ask now, and see whether a man can give birth. Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, like a woman giving birth? Why have all faces turned pale?” TLV
Attention: When God asked this question back millennia before, the answer was obvious. If you are not familiar with the topic of Transhumanism, I encourage you to secure a copy of Dr. Thomas Horn’s book, The Milieu: Welcome to the Transhuman Resistance.
Dr. Horn introduces us to “world renowned AI expert Dr. David Levy” and a lecture he gave in addressing the “Third International Congress” (2017) on Love and Sex with Robots. “He announced that human-robot offspring will be possible in the future. This means what it sounds like it means: that one parent will be human (even if he or she is an enhanced one, the parent will still be some part human), and the other parent will be wholly machine (pg. 272).”
With the recent technology called “CRISPR,” “combined with (or besides) parthenogenotes (mentioned earlier) in which eggs can be “tricked” into developing into an embryo without fertilization.” Imagine the possibilities.
Is man creating difficulties for themselves in modifying or morphing man into man-machine. Is it enhancing what God has designed? Is it making man something other than what God designed? If what God designed has a soul. Does man’s design have a soul or something other than a soul? We are made in the image of God. In whose image is a man-machine?
I want to end with a quote from Elon Musk, who is in the very center of the AI conversation. “I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I had to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it’s probably that… With artificial intelligence we’re summoning the demon. You know those stories where there’s a guy with the pentagram, and the holy water, and he’s like– Yeah, he’s sure he can control the demon? Doesn’t work out (pg.221, The Milieu).”
We are going beyond the boundaries of God, and I am concerned we will pay for that. Those who follow Adonai, must speak up now.
Action: I choose to live in obedience to Sovereign Adonai.
Yield: I choose to submit the sovereignty of Adonai.
Engage: I choose to engage in a lifestyle of obedience.
Relationship: I choose to live in intimate, holy relationship with Adonai.
Prayer: Father, the battle between the forces of darkness and Your holy angels, has never been clearer. May Your followers arise and align with You. Amen.
