More Measurements

Prayer: Father, Your greatest concern is the inner man. When the inner man houses the Ruach, the outer man manifests the fruits of the Spirit. Amen.

Reading: Ezekiel 41 key: vs. 1-3 “Then he brought me to the Temple, and measured the pillars—six cubits wide on one side, six cubits wide on the other side, which was the width of the tent. The width of the entrance was ten cubits. The sides of the entrance were five cubits on the one side and five cubits on the other side. He measured its length, 40 cubits and its width, 20 cubits. He went to the inner room and measured each pillar of the entrance, two cubits; the doorway, six cubits; and the width of the doorway, seven cubits.” TLV

Attention: Can we observe from Ezekiel’s prophecy and encounter with a messenger of Adonai, that God is in the details? The apostle Luke (11) records we are so personally known by God, that the hairs of our head are numbered. For me, that number continues to drop as I age. However, imagine the number of people for which God knows this detail. The apostle Matthew (6) records the same words of Yeshua and gives man more value than the birds of they air, and yet He cares for and feeds them. Will He not so much more for man?

The intimacy of details. God does not want us to worry about food and clothing, or the daily worries of life. Yeshua’s solution, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).”

The transition post resurrection of Messiah is He now not only dwells with man, His Spirit dwells in His followers. We are now His Temple, “Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that the Ruach Elohim dwells among you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).”

“Are you taking care of His Temple within you? Our lifestyle with God and man changes when we know who we are in Messiah. I encourage you to walk in awareness of the Ruach’s indwelling presence every moment of every day.

Action: I choose to live in the awareness that I am the temple of Adonai.

Yield: I choose to yield to the Holy Spirit’s dwelling within me.

Engage: I choose to engage with a lifestyle of living in the Ruach of Adonai.

Relationship: I choose to live in intimate relationship with Adonai.

Prayer: Father, I am Your temple! I thank You for Your intimate presence. Amen.

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that the Ruach Elohim dwells among you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” TLV
