Prayer: Father, You have a plan and it will be fulfilled. It seems like Your plan may be playing out before our very eyes. Those who know Your plan have no need of fear. You are in control. You are the Supreme Sovereign of all nations. Amen.
Reading: Micah 4 key: vs. 11-12 “But now many nations have assembled against you, those who are saying, “Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gaze on Zion.” But they do not know Adonai’s thoughts, nor understand His plan. For He has gathered them like grain to a threshing floor.” TLV
Attention: There is a divine purpose for which the events of the Middle East are being orchestrated. Adonai declares through the mouth and writings of Micah, how Adonai is gathering nations, to be sifted like grain. The nations “do not know Adonai’s thoughts, nor understand His plan.”
I hope that you are watching the events of the Middle East and how nations are posturing and aligning themselves against Israel. If they understood God’s Word, they would not be aligning against Israel. For they are aligning themselves against God and His people. It is a losing proposition, a death wish, of sorts.
We do many things in ignorance. I was reflecting on my youth and a couple of careless, ignorant actions that fortunately did not result in injury to me or others. One of those occasions I experienced in high school. I do not recall all the specifics, but I was walking through the gym by myself and as I was about to exit, I took a couple of running steps and leapt to kick the door open. It was the kind of door which had a bar which you pushed to open the door. I kicked it and the door slammed back against the concrete wall. It was not till after the door hit the wall with force, that it registered with me, “what if someone had been behind the door?” I immediately had this feeling of terror, relieved that no one had been seriously hurt or killed. It was a foolish action.
The nations which are aligning against Israel are being foolish as well. I encourage you to pray that the eyes of the opposing nations will be opened to their ignorance about Adonai. They are acting foolishly. Adonai will protect Israel and demonstrate His Sovereign might. Adonai is gathering them for judgement.
Action: I choose to align myself with Adonai and His nation Israel.
Yield: I choose to submit to the Sovereignty of Adonai.
Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit in being obedient to Adonai.
Relationship: I choose to live in obedient, intimate relationship with Adonai.
Prayer: Father, how the nations act foolishly, like the people who lead them. They are ignorant of Your Supremacy and Your ways. Please open their eyes to the judgement which awaits them. Your plan will be fulfilled. Amen.
