Are You Being Healed?

Prayer: Father, may I choose to be healed by You. Your healing is the best. Open my eyes and my heart to be receptive to Your Word. Amen.

Reading: Isaiah 6 key: vs. 9-10 “Then He said: “Go! Tell this people: ‘Hear without understanding, and see without perceiving.’ Make the heart of this people fat, their ears heavy, and their eyes blind. Else they would see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return, and be healed.” TLV

Attention: When I was young, I remember hearing a statement from my parents that was like this, “If I have told you once, I have told you a thousand times to…… (you finish the phrase).” They were saying, “I have told you enough times to put things back in their place or put your clean clothes in their drawer.” They were telling us, “How many times do I need to remind you, or tell you?”

This is the frustration I hear Adonai telling the prophet Isaiah. I have told the nation of Israel through Moses and the priests and prophets, and they will not listen. If they would only listen and obey and return to Me (with their whole heart), I would heal them. This is a message which God had not only told the nation of Israel through prophets and priests before Isaiah, but He has also continued to declare the same message through those who followed Isaiah.

Ezra penned these words in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If I shut up heaven that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, when My people, 0ver whom My Name is called, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Yeshua said these words penned by Matthew, “For this reason I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear nor do they understand. ”And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘You will keep on hearing but will never understand; you will keep looking, but will never see. For the heart of this people has become dull, their ears can barely hear, and they have shut their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts. Then they would turn back, and I would heal them.’ “But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. Amen, I tell you, many a prophet and tzaddik longed to see what you are seeing and did not see, and to hear what you are hearing and did not hear (Matthew 13:13-17).”

Of the people who Yeshua spoke about, which are you? Are you among those who heard and returned? Are your eyes bright or dull? Are your ears functional but you have ear plugs to the things of God? Are your ears tuned the to wrong message? Do you understand with your heart, the spiritual message which God gives you from His word? Do you identify as a part of the stump?

Action: I choose to listen, obey, and return to God and be healed.

Yield: I choose to give my life to Yeshua Messiah.

Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit and live in power.

Relationship: I choose to live in intimate relationship with Adonai.

Prayer: Father, I love You. I thank You for Your instruction through Your Holy Word. Give me ears to hear, eyes to see You, and an obedient and willing heart. Amen.

Memory Verse: Matthew 13:16 ““But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.” TLV
