Prayer: Father, once again You tell man from the mouth and pen of a prophet, what is to come. Thank You for the announcement of an eternal Ruler out of Bethlehem. Amen.
Reading: Micah 5 key: vs. 1 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah— least among the clans of Judah— from you will come out to Me One to be ruler in Israel, One whose goings forth are from of old, from days of eternity.” TLV
Attention: If you have participated in the Choose Life reading schedule, in the book of Amos, we discovered a scripture which said, For the Lord Adonai, will do nothing, unless He has revealed His counsel to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).”
We see through Micah fulfillment and affirmation of Amos 3:7. God once again, speaks through His prophet the announcement of the coming of the Eternal One. He tells mankind through His prophet, this is what I Am about to do, what I will do.
Be assured that Adonai is the “same yesterday, today, and forever.” He is eternally the same. This is how we can be assured of His veracity, His truthfulness. He continues to be consistently the same from eternity.
The eternal One, His character will be “peace,” shalom. He will not only bring peace to the land, but He will also bring peace to everyone of His sheep, “and they will live securely (Micah 5:3).”
If you want to live in peace and live securely, you must be one of His sheep. If you have not done so, consider inviting the Messiah into your life to be Lord, King, and Shepherd of your life.
Action: I choose to invite Yeshua into my heart, to be Lord, King, and Shepherd of my life.
Yield: I choose to submit to the Majesty, Lordship, and Shepherd of my life.
Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit in declaring Yeshua as Lord.
Relationship: I choose to life in intimate, holy relationship with Adonai.
Prayer: Father, I remember fondly, the day I declared You as Lord of my life. I recommit my heart and life unto You today. Amen.
Memory Verse: Hebrews 13:8 “Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” TLV
