Prayer: Father, wisdom and happiness reside in knowing You. In seeking You, I find wisdom and happiness. I delight in Your commandments. Amen.
Reading: Psalm 112 key: vs. 1
1 Halleluyah! Happy is the man who fears Adonai,
who delights greatly in His mitzvot.
Attention: The world would have you believe that happiness is found in things and the indulgence of things. The psalmist tells us today that the man who fears Adonai, is happy and content. He goes on to say, this happy man also delights in Adonai’s law (mitzvot).
What I have discovered in my relationship with Adonai, is the more I love Him, I love His law (commandments, mitzvot). It is the process of the Holy Spirit to conform us to the image of Adonai as He transforms us. If you are not being transformed, you will never be conformed to His image. If you are not conformed to His image, you will not experience the happiness which the psalmist is declaring.
I invite you to a deeper relationship with Adonai by getting into the Word of God through the Choose Life Journal system. I have engaged in the Choose Life process with the Holy Spirit for over 15 years and it has been transformational for me. I am more in love with God now than when I began the process and my love grows with every passing year, with every journal. The deeper my love for God, the more I cherish His Word, His commandments, His mitzvot.
It is a delight for me to walk this journey with you. Make the commitment to meet with Him every day. He will transform your life and your heart.
Action: I will commit to a daily time with God and journaling with action!
Yield: I am yielded when I love Adonai with all my heart, soul, and mind.
Engaged: I am fully engaged when I appropriately fear (respect) Adonai.
Relationship: I am in full relationship with Adonai when I allow the Holy Spirit to transform me and conform me to Yeshua’s image.
Prayer: Father, I am happy and content in You when I have appropriate fear expressed in love and obedience. Your Spirit transforms my mind and heart. Thank You for loving me first. Amen.
