Prayer: Father, there is a time and a season for everything under heaven. Thank You for the reminder. Help me to understand the concept of eternity. Amen.
Reading: Ecclesiastes 3 key: vs. 11-13 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Moreover, He has set eternity in their heart—yet without the possibility that humankind can ever discover the work that God has done from the beginning to the end. I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and enjoy themselves in their lifetime. Also when anyone eats and drinks, and finds satisfaction in all of his labor, it is the gift of God.”
Attention: Isn’t the concept of God having placed within every person the concept of eternity amazing? But, why wouldn’t an eternal God, place a desire for within His creation to spend eternity with Him? The concept of God placing within us “eternity” makes total sense to me.
The author of Ecclesiastes makes an interesting declaration, “I have seen the task that God has given to the children of men to keep them occupied (vs. 10).” What task do you think God has given all men? It is to know Him and declare which eternal destination you choose. He has set “eternity” in every man’s heart, but He does not make the decision for us. The decision is to choose life with Him. The decision is to follow Yeshua, for there is no other name under heaven by which men can be saved. I hope you choose life by following Yeshua Messiah.
Action: I choose to follow the God (Adonai) through Yeshua, the eternal One, who has set eternity in my heart.
Yield: I choose to submit to the eternal One.
Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit in living for the Eternal One.
Relationship: I choose to live in holy, intimate, obedient relationship with God.
Prayer: Father, You are the Eternal One, the Creator, the giver of Life. Thank You for placing eternity in my heart. I desire to always live for You and live with You. In Yeshua’s mighty name, amen.
