I am my Beloved’s

Prayer: Father, love is from You. Amen.

Reading: Song of Songs 7 key: vs. 11 “I am my lover’s, and his desire is for me.”

Attention: Today’s key scripture is a repeat of Song of Songs 6:3 “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine,” said in another way.

If you have studied the scriptures, in the New Testament, you know that the apostle John records these words by John the Immerser, “You yourselves testify that I said, ‘I am not the Messiah,’ but rather, ‘I am sent before Him.’ The one who has the bride is the bridegroom, but the best man rejoices when he stands and hears the bridegroom’s voice. So now my joy is complete (John 3:28-29)!”

Yeshua Messiah is His follower’s bridegroom. He is the one of whom we say, “I am my Beloved’s and He is mine, His banner over me is love (Song of Songs 2:4).” Are you falling in love with your Beloved? He loves you so (John 3:16).

It is a love relationship with which we are building with Messiah. He loved us first (1 John 4:19)! He paid for our redemption (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We receive the gift of God in Messiah (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 3:23). In the transaction of salvation, Messiah becomes our Bridegroom.

Please be sure that Messiah is your Bridegroom. You can make sure today! Your name will be written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:5; 13:8; 17:8; 20:12, 15; 21:27). You will be invited to the biggest wedding ceremony ever, our wedding to our Bridegroom. Your life depends on your name being in the Book of Life.

Action: I choose to embrace Messiah as my Bridegroom and follow Him the rest of my days.

Yield: I choose to submit to the supremacy of Adonai!

Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit in living with Adonai eternally.

Relationship: I choose to live in intimate, holy, obedient relationship with Adonai.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the gift of Messiah, who first loved me, and died for me on Calvary. I cling to Your love! I look forward to the day we are united and see each other face to face. Amen.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not from yourselves—it is the gift of God.” TLV
