Prayer: Father, Your word is true. Your character is faithful. You have declared and it will come to be. Thank You for Your promises to Israel and to me. Amen.
Reading: Ezekiel 39 key: vs. 28-29 “Then they will know that I am Adonai their God, since it was I who caused them to go into exile among the nations and I who will gather them back to their own land. I will never again leave them there. I will never again hide My face from them. For I have poured out My Ruach upon the house of Israel.” It is a declaration of Adonai.” TLV
Attention: We live in an exciting time in history. Have you been keeping an eye on the middle east? Are you watching through the lens of the recorded prophecies of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel? Or are you watching and listening to the narrative of the world? How timely it has been to have started the study of the major prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel) for the past six months during the current actions unfolding in Israel.
Adonai encapsulates through Ezekiel, the message He is declaring and will fulfill to the nation of Israel and the surrounding nations. He is in control. He is fulfilling His plan. It is He who “caused them to go into exile (Assyria & Babylon).” It is He who will “gather them back to their land (we have witnessed the gathering for the past 70 years).” Along with these decrees, He promises to “never leave them there. I will never again hide My face from them.”
God told Israel centuries ago what He was doing, why He did it, and how He would gather them back as a nation. He has promised to never again leave them (or forsake them, sound familiar?). He also declared, “I have poured out my Ruach upon the house of Israel.” God declares His Spirit, His Ruach, has been poured upon “the house of Israel.”
We should always pray for the safety and protection of Israel. Their safety and protection is already secured. We may need to pray for the surrounding nations to come to their collective senses and realize they are fighting against the true and living God, Adonai. The purposes of God are being fulfilled, to Israel and the nations of the world. All the posturing of the nations is playing into the hand of God. The scriptures declares that Israel and the nations will know Adonai is God.
Action: I choose to embrace the prophecy of Adonai about what He is doing.
Yield: I choose to submit to the Supremacy of Adonai.
Engage: I choose to engage life with God in the power of His Spirit.
Relationship: I choose to live a lifestyle of Spirit directed living.
Prayer: Father, how amazing Your prophetic declarations. Thank You for the assurance of Your presence in these last days, with Israel Your nation and Your New Testament Greek and Jewish followers. Amen.
