| Prayer: Father, Your ways are just. May I come to love what You love and hate what You hate. May I come to understand justice in Your terms. Amen. Reading: Psalms 5 key: vs. 4-7 4 Adonai, in the morning You hear my voice. In the morning I order my prayer before You and watch expectantly. 5 For You are not a God who rejoices in evil. No wickedness dwells with you. 6 Braggarts will not stand before your eyes. You hate all wrongdoers. 7 You destroy those who speak falsehood. A person of bloodshed and deceit Adonai detests. Attention: Let’s separate God’s view of man from the world view of man. God’s Word says, “There is no one righteous—no not one (Rom. 3:10a).” The world says man is good. Whose view do we want to live by? Do we believe God or man? If man were good, there would have been no reason for sending Jesus to earth. We are considered righteous only after we receive the DNA of Jesus. When we are born again of water and fire, we receive His DNA. The problem exists when we do not allow the righteous DNA of Jesus to dominate and eradicate the DNA of Adam (sin) and try to live a double life in both kingdoms. We, like the world and all of us, are conformed to one degree or another with our old DNA. We still sin and we don’t want to admit it. There are only two types of men, those regenerated by the blood of Jesus and those who are unregenerated. Both are known by their works or deeds. Both are known by their words (language) and their DNA. If they act like their father or Father, it is deeply apparent whose they are. There is a whole lot of lying, scheming and deception going on today. Whose DNA do they exhibit? We have been sold on the term “good” by the world. There are many who on the surface claim good acts, but beneath the acts of good, they are of their father the devil and are satanic worshippers. Do not be deceived. I encourage you to read the rest of Romans 3. Man will never get justice right, until he knows and aligns with He who is just. When Jesus returns, justice will prevail. God’s character is one of total veracity or truth. He cannot lie because He is truth. We must live with God’s definition of justice. We all deserve death without Jesus. This is the theme of Romans 3. Without Jesus’ DNA, His blood which cleanses us from all unrighteousness, we are doomed. The world is only acting out their DNA. Why do we not recognize that? Are we acting out on our DNA? Is it our DNA which compels us to live for He who died for us? The lines have been drawn. Choose you this day who you will serve. The world’s definition of justice is not God’s definition. Action: I will always seek to live by God’s definition of justice. Yield: I am surrendered to living by God’s Word as my source of guidance. Engage: I will be engaged in God’s Word daily. Relationship: I am in full relationship when my thoughts align with God’s. Prayer: Father, may my mind, heart and soul align with You and Your Word. Amen.
