Prayer: Father, teach me, instruct me today! I am Yours. Amen.
Reading: Numbers 3 key: vs. 12
12 “See, I have taken the Levites from among Bnei-Yisrael in place of the firstborn who open the womb among Bnei-Yisrael. The Levites will be Mine
Attention: Do you remember exchanging Valentines as a child? What was the key line on the Valentines? Wasn’t it, “Be Mine” or “Will You Be My Valentine?” Did you know that Adonai is possessive of you? He is jealous too. If we claim we are His and we act like a prodigal, a prostitute, or a incorrigible child, we have dishonored our commitment and His claim on us.
Adonai said that the Levites (priests) were His. They belonged exclusively to Him. They were His inheritance. They were sanctified (set apart) for service unto Adonai.
Today, those who have called on the name of Messiah according to Romans 10:13, are saved. As those who are saved by grace, we are called the “priesthood of the saints or believers.” Yeshua by His death and resurrection has become our High Priest.
Isn’t it interesting that the Levites were placed in the center of the camp, surrounding the Tent of Meeting, and where Adonai resided was the center of the camp? Where are you camping these days? Are you in the center with Him? Can He call you “mine?” Are you His possession? Does He have all of you or just part of you?
My wife and I remind each other frequently, who we belong to. We belong to each other. As we hold each other, we can say, “mine.” Can Adonai say “Mine” to you?
Action: I choose today to confirm to Adonai that I belong to Him.
Yield: I give myself and my will to Adonai today!
Engage: It is great to engage with the Holy Spirit in living life together.
Relationship: I am Adonai’s and He is mine!
Prayer: Father, many of us claim You, but can You claim us? I pray that many will give their heart anew to You today. Amen.
Memory Verse: Song of Solomon 2:16a
16 My lover is mine, and I am his!
He grazes his flocks among the lilies.
