Prayer: Father, may I embrace Your declarations. You are God and God alone. There is none like You. Nor has there been anyone like You before You and there will be no One after You. You are the Alpha and Omega. Amen.
Reading: Isaiah 43 key: vs. 10-13 “You are My witnesses” —it is a declaration of Adonai— “and My Servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me no God was formed, and there will none after Me. I, I am Adonai— and there is no savior beside Me. I alone declared, saved and proclaimed, and not some foreign god among you. So you are My witnesses” —it is a declaration of Adonai— “and I am God. From eternity, I am He. None can deliver from My hand. I act, and who can reverse it?” TLV
Attention: Adonai and the Godhead, possess a character trait called “veracity.” Veracity is defined as “conformity to facts, accuracy” with an emphasis on truth, truthfulness, correctness, exactness, and precision. Veracity is the character of God (Adonai). He is the embodiment of truth, and He cannot deny Himself. God cannot lie.
Notice the intensity which God declares, “Before Me no God was formed, and there will none after Me, …understand that I am He.” He declared I preexisted everyone! “I, I am Adonai (God)—and there is no savior besides Me. I alone declared, saved and proclaimed, and not some foreign god among you.” Emphatically, “I am God. From eternity, I am He.”
Can God stress His Supremacy any stronger? He alone is God, there is no other. There is one who tries to usurp God’s Supremacy and will never be able to overcome God. In the scheme of time, the one who tries to usurp will be eternally bound.
If you are counted among the witnesses which God addresses in our key Isaiah passage today, then I encourage you to declare Adonai as God and God alone. As He concludes, “I act, and who can reverse it? The answer, no one! What God has purposed; it shall be fulfilled.
Action: I choose to embrace the God of Jacob, as the Supreme God who acts and rules.
Yield: I choose to submit to the God of Jacob.
Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit of God in being a witness to His Supremacy.
Relationship: I choose to live in holy, intimate, obedient lifestyle with God.
