My apologies for the two-month lapse in our newsletter. Life sometimes gets in the way. You may know that I was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma skin cancer. I had two surgeries and three spots removed. I was given a clear post operative report and the places on my cheek and forehead have healed up nicely. I am doing some post operative therapy to avoid reoccurrence. Thank you for your prayers of support during this challenging time.
We are back in the groove. Fortunately, I was able to keep up with the daily Choose Life journaling during this time. We are currently in 2 Samuel, and we will be starting 1 Kings in mid-October. You may join in the process at any time by registering online (click the link).
I am excited to announce that we will be launching our first online Zoom class using our Choose Life Journal book. I am inviting men only to join me on Sunday evenings, 7pm PT, for a 10-week virtual teaching on how to develop a lifestyle of daily intimate time with God.
I will be teaching you a daily Inductive Bible Study approach, with journaling. Each day, with the Holy Spirit’s help, we will make a personal action statement from what we have read from the Bible. According to Jacob (James 1:22) we are to be “doers” of the Word, and not hearers only, “deluding yourselves.”
I have been doing this process for over fifteen years and have witnessed the transforming power of the Holy Spirit as He gives us new minds, new hearts, opens our eyes to spiritual insights, and reveals Himself through the Word.
If you desire to know God in a deeper way, I encourage you to engage with me and other men, beginning Sunday evening, October 15th at 7pm.
