Prophecy of the Nations

Prayer: Father, may I secure a world view of the nations. A vision which is outward and not inward. A vision of Your love for all mankind. Amen.

Reading: Jeremiah 46 key: vs. 28 “Fear not, Jacob My servant” —it is a declaration of Adonai— “for I am with you. I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you, but I will not make a full end of you. I will discipline you with justice, but will not utterly destroy you.” TLV

Attention: I am concerned today that North Americans have for some time embraced a favored nation status with God. Considering our past affluence, one could argue it was God’s blessing on America. I am concerned about the future of America. Have we crossed the line with God?

God (Adonai) now prophesies through the mouth of Jeremiah and his scribe Baruch, the judgements which will come upon the nations who have been God’s instruments of judgement on Israel. Because of the historical past, I pause to wonder how much of what is going on today, judgement brought by God.

I wonder if a proper biblical worldview, holds all men as God’s creation and that He (Yeshua) died for the people of all nations. I believe based upon the words of inspiration given to the apostle John, that John 3:16 supports and conveys the message of God’s love.

There is still an ongoing, eternal covenant Adonai has with the nation of Israel which is conveyed through Jeremiah. God promises through Jeremiah, that the nations which have been God’s instruments of judgement will be destroyed but, He will “not utterly destroy you.” He will keep a remnant, so that the seed of Abraham (as promised) will be blessed eternally. All His promised covenants will remain in force.

Action: I choose to embrace a biblical world view of God’s love for all nations.

Yield: I choose to submit to the God (Adonai) of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit in developing a love for all nations.

Relationship: I choose to live in holy, intimate relationship with Adonai.

Prayer: Father, I embrace Your love for all nations. Yeshua died for the sins of the world. May I love who You love. Amen.

Memory Verse: Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach ha-Kodesh, teaching them to observe all I have commanded you. And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” TLV
