Prayer: Father, expand my understanding of Your Kingdom and the Spiritual realm. Help me to understand Your ways. Amen.
Reading: Ezekiel 6 key: vs. 1-2 “The word of Adonai came to me saying: “Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel and prophesy to them.” TLV
Attention: I was recently listening to an online live podcast conversation between two prophets. The one mentioned that he had began prophesying to the mountains and trees in his area, referencing the command of Adonai to Ezekiel to prophesy to the mountains. He commented it seemed strange to begin with, but when he became aware of God’s relationship with man and creation, it gave him a whole new awareness of the power of our declarations in the Spirit.
I instantly reflected on 2 Chronicles 7:14 where the author (presumed to be Ezra) writes, “When My people… (humble themselves, pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I hear…and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Healing our land is included with repentance and sanctification. I also thought of Mark 11:23 where Jesus (Yeshua) is recorded to say, “Amen, I tell you, if someone says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but trusts that what he says is happening, so shall it be for him.”
The prophet Isaiah declares, ““Yes, you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills will break forth before you singing, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands! (55:12).”
Might we consider declaring to the mountains, trees, valleys, and streams, the declarations and prophecies of Adonai? What a difference we might see in our region, nation, and world, if each follower of Adonai were to practice prophesying to the mountains and trees.
Action: I choose to begin today to expand my praise, declarations, and prophecy to God’s nature surrounding me.
Yield: I choose to submit to the Spirit of God in declaring prophecy to all nature.
Engage: I choose to engage in prophetic declarations to God’s creation.
Relationship: I choose to live in intimate communion with God and creation.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the example of Ezekiel and the command You gave Him to prophesy to the mountains. Your creation announces Your entrance everyday into Your world. Praise You! Praise You. Amen.
Memory Verse: Isaiah 55:12 ““Yes, you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills will break forth before you singing, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands!”
