Seek From the Scroll

Prayer: Father, I seek You and Your wisdom today. Reveal to me Your mysteries and secrets. Amen.

Reading: Isaiah 34 key: vs. 16z “Seek from the scroll of Adonai, and read!” TLV

Attention: While we have the Bible to reveal Adonai to us from the ancient scrolls, there is a scroll which John the Revelator tells us about in Revelation 5-20. This is the most vital scroll of all time, because only Yeshua is found to be worthy to open the scroll and reveal its contents. There are several books which are opened, but the ultimate book, The Book of Life, is revealed at the Great White Throne judgement found in Revelation 21:11-12, “Then I saw a great white throne, and the One seated on it. The earth and heaven fled from His presence, but no place was found for them. And I saw the dead—the great and the small—standing before the throne. The books were opened, and another book was opened—the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what was written in the books, according to their deeds.”

This is the most significant scroll ever to be opened and the most critical book concerning man’s eternal destiny.

Here are a few scriptures aimed at our seeking God through the scriptures:

Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me and find Me, when you will search for Me with all your heart.”

2 Chronicles 15:2b “Adonai is with you as long as you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will spurn you.”

Psalms 63:2 “O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You. My soul thirsts for You. My flesh longs for You in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.”

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Seeking God and who He is through the scriptures is vital to our knowing Him. I encourage you to be a lifelong seeker and follower of Yeshua. I remind you that Yeshua invited all his disciples to “Come follow Me. “
