Serendipity

Prayer: Father, teach me today. Your servant is listening and observing. Amen.

Reading: Ruth 2 key: vs. 3 “So Ruth went out and gleaned in the field behind the reapers. She just so happened to be in the field of Boaz, who was from Elimelech’s family.” TLV

Attention: I have experienced many God planned appointments in my life and I pray that I have many more. As in Ruth’s case, the author of Ruth pens the words, “She just so happened” to be in the field of Boaz. Not. This was a divine appointment of the highest order. For this meeting was appointed by God to continue the royal line to and through David.

I hope you have noticed and acknowledged the divine appointments which God has placed in your path. Whether it is your car mechanic, dentist, or a firewood source, God has the details covered.

It was no accident that Ruth found Boaz, nor an accident that Boaz redeemed Ruth as a kinsman redeemer. It was a purposed, planned meeting of Adonai.

Action: I choose to acknowledge the God planned appointments in my life!

Yield: I choose to submit to the providential moves of God.

Engage: I choose to engage with the help of the Ruach, in the God planned appointments in my life.

Relationship: I choose to live in intimate, holy, obedient relationship with God.

Prayer: Father, there are no accidental meetings when You are orchestrating our lives. Thank You for the providential care You give me/us. Amen.

Memory Verse: Psalms 121:1-2 “A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains— from where does my help come? My help comes from Adonai, Maker of heaven and earth.” TLV
