The Plan

Prayer: Father, I see Your consistency every day. Your plan never changes. Your ways never change. You are the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.

Reading: Psalm 33 key: vs. 10-11
10 Adonai foils the purpose of the nations.
He thwarts the plans of the peoples.
11 The plan of Adonai stands forever,
the purposes of His heart from generation to generation.

Attention: Notice that this psalm is not attributed to David. If it was written by David, we are told that in the first verse. Regardless of who wrote this psalm, he attributes Adonai as being the creator. “By Adonai’s word were the heavens made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth.” The psalmist knows from his study of the Pentateuch (first five books of the Bible) and the Torah (law) the character of God. “For the word of Adonai is upright and all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the love of Adonai.

We must use God’s definition of justice and not what the world who does not know God or His word define it as. God’s justice is without gender, culture, or color. The same rules apply to everyone about sin, grace, mercy, repentance, forgiveness, and justice. Everyone has sinned (Romans 3: 23-26), grace is a gift (to everyone who repents), mercy is unmerited (Ephesians 2:4-9), repentance is required of everyone (Luke 17: 3), and justice is granted to everyone without prejudice of race, gender, or color. Even the Golden Rule is a notable example of not excluding anyone and applying for everyone. So why are we determined as mankind to single out certain people to the exclusion of everyone else.

We must utilize God’s Word to establish working definitions of justice and injustice. Law, grace, mercy, repentance, and justice are all elements of God’s plan of redeeming mankind. Jesus came to reconcile us to God. He is the only pathway to God, there is no other way.

Action: I will embrace the plan and purposes of God.

Yield: I will surrender and yield to God’s plan.

Engaged: I will engage with God in His plan.

Relationship: I have relationship only through repentance of sin.

Prayer: Father, I must embrace Your plan for the redemption of man through Jesus. It is the only way back to You. Thank You for Your amazing grace, Your unmerited favor, Your undiscriminating love, and Your equality of justice. Amen.

Memory Verse: Acts 2:38
38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be immersed in the name of Messiah Yeshua for the removal of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach ha-Kodesh
