Prayer: Father, teach Your servant about Your mysteries. You are incomprehensible, beyond my imagination. You are God. Amen.
Reading: Isaiah 40 key: vs. “Who has measured the waters in the palm of His hand, or measured out heaven with a span, or calculated the dust of the earth in a measure, or weighed the mountains in scales, or the hills in a balance? Who can fathom the Ruach Adonai? Or instruct Him as His counselor? With whom did He consult, and who instructed Him? Who taught Him in the path of justice or taught Him knowledge? Who informed Him about the way of understanding? TLV
Attention: Isaiah 40 is an amazing chapter. In the early part of the chapter, Isaiah introduces John the Immerser. He does not call him by name, but he describes his character which is referenced in every one of the gospel books.
Then Isaiah set outs to describe the indescribable character of Adonai. Who is like him? No one. Adonai is only defined by Himself. There is no One like Him.
If you have never heard Pastor S.M. Lockridge’s sermonette titled, “That’s My King,” you are in for a treat. He describes God as only an inspired Black pastor can preach. There are additional versions on YouTube. I have provided one link below for your viewing.
