Unique

Prayer: Father, may I put on the lenses with which you see all Your spiritual children. May I see my wife with the lens with which You see her. Amen.

Reading: Song of Songs 6 key: vs. 9 “Yet my dove, my perfect one is unique. She is her mother’s only one— a virtuous child of the one who bore her. Maidens saw her and called her blessed. Queens and concubines praised her.” TLV

Attention: What difference would it make in your marriage if you only saw your wife’s uniquenesses and plusses?

Have you ever tried this exercise? By suggestion, today as you travel, notice how many red cars you see. All the sudden, red cars are everywhere. Use this example to focus on the positive attributes of your wife and see what a difference it makes in how you see your wife.

Even the lens with which we see God, makes a difference in how we see and understand God. Have you ever heard our problems are the converse of the size of God. In other words, “Small god, big problems. Big God, small problems.”

Smith Wigglesworth is quoted as saying, ““There is nothing impossible with God. All the impossibility is with us when we measure God by the limitations of our unbelief.”

I live with a bona fide Queen. My wife is the reigning Ms. Senior Washington and Ms. Senior Ireland Universe. She has the titles, hardware (crowns), and sashes to substantiate it. Her middle name is Esther. She has been given a position (platform) afforded too only a few. Her uniquenesses are many. She is a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a licensed Chaplain, multiple time pageant winner, my lover and best friend.
