Victory Celebration Song

Prayer: Father, I love to sing to You and express the joy of my heart. Thank You today for those who write music that worships You. Amen.

Reading: Exodus 15 key: vs. 1-3
Then Moses and Bnei-Yisrael sang this song to Adonai:
I will sing to Adonai, for He is highly exalted!
The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.
Adonai is my strength and song,
and He has become my salvation.
This is my God, and I will glorify Him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
Adonai is a warrior—Adonai is His Name!

Attention: Imagine, it is your first day in the wilderness of Sin, Adonai has just extracted 2+ million of His nation from exile in Egypt. What is the first thing you do? Do you lament being in a foreign wasteland? Do you begin to set up your tent, and take up residency? Do you send out scouts to surveil the land in search of water? Or do you take your cue from the Hebrew nation and worship Adonai?

All through the plagues, we see Moses and Aaron, as the team appointed by Adonai to communicate to Pharoah. Now saved from Pharoah, a new face helps Moses in worship, his sister Miriam. Quickly, words were put to music of the supernatural miracles Adonai performed against their enemies. They will never see their faces again.

Notice the song is filled with references proclaiming Adonai to be their God and giving Him all the glory! The song speaks of His might and power, bringing salvation. “Who is like You, glorious in holiness, awesome in praises, doing wonders.”

The song called “The horse and rider…He has thrown into the sea,” makes an interesting statement in verse sixteen, part “b”; “till the people cross over, Adonai, till the people whom You purchased cross over.”

Who were His people while in Egypt? Pharoah made His (Adonai’s) people, slaves, both physically and spiritually. Adonai made a blood purchase, in the sacrifice of a spotless (without blemish) lamb.

Adonai made the same purchase on Calvary with the Lamb of God. It was a redemption or buying back, paying the price for your sin and mine. Do you see the correlation between Passover and the Exodus and the purpose of Yeshua centuries later?

Your salvation has been paid for in full. If you claim the blood of Jesus, He has purchased you. If you have been purchased by the blood of Yeshua, let’s live as redeemed, paid for saints. We owe our very lives to Yeshua!

Action: I embrace the cross upon which Jesus shed His blood for me! I am redeemed.

Yield: I give to Jesus, my life, my love.

Engage: I will live for Him who died for me.

Relationship: The blood proves through its DNA, that I am His.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the blood of Jesus which cleanses me from all my unrighteousness. I claim the blood of Jesus. I am redeemed! Amen.

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19 Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Ruach ha-Kodesh who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.
