Prayer: Father, show me what it is like to be a bride. According to Your Word, You are my Husband. Help me to embrace my identity with You. Amen.
Reading: Isaiah 54 key: vs. 5 “For your Maker is your husband —Adonai-Tzva’ot is His Name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called God of all the earth.” TLV
Attention: As followers of Messiah, most of us are familiar with scripture which states, “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven” (Matthew 22:30).
However, Isaiah declares that Adonai (God) is the husband of the Hebrew nation. So, is it possible that the wedding of the Lamb declared in Revelation 19:7-8 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready, She was given fine linen to wear, bright and clean! For the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the kedoshim,” is speaking of a literal wedding?
In heaven we do not marry each other, but we are married to the Lamb, married to God.
Notice too that we are spirit in heaven, no physical bodies. No gender in heaven, we are spirit. Therefore, all who are males by birth (from your Maker), we are brides of Messiah, where there is no gender in heaven.
Women, do you already claim Adonai as your Maker and husband? Men, are you prepared to be a bride unto Yeshua? Perhaps if we are able to accept the spiritual transition while we are on earth which we will experience in heaven, it will help us in relationship to our spouses on earth and prepare us to be the bride of Yeshua.
Action: I choose to see myself as a bride of Messiah in preparation and waiting.
Yield: I choose to submit to the Lordship of Messiah and identify as His bride.
Engage: I choose to engage with the Holy Spirit in embracing God as my Maker/Huband.
Relationship: I choose to live in holy obedient relationship with God.
Prayer: Father, help us to wrap our mind around being Your bride and being spirit. I desire to be who You designed me to be. I live unto You. Amen.
Memory Verse: Revelation 19:7-8 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready, She was given fine linen to wear, bright and clean! For the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the kedoshim.” TLV
